The Flagship: Is Ole Miss recruiting like a 'progrum' yet?
The Ole Miss Rebels have taken the college football world by storm this offseason. And for good reason. Lane Kiffin‘s Rebels were picked 6th in the US LBM Preseason Coaches Poll earlier this week.
The Coaches Poll is determined by voting from a panel of randomly chosen FBS head coaches. Those coaches are chosen from a pool of those that have previously indicated that they’re interested in participating. Each coach enters a Top 25 list of schools, with 25 points being given out for a first place vote and one point for a 25th place vote.

The hype is very real, though, thanks to a top-ranked transfer portal class and a plethora of experienced starters returning. On3’s JD PicKell joined “The Flagship”, presented by College Corner, Friday to discuss why Ole Miss has been able to juggle high school roster-building and landing plug-and-play portal prospects.
Is this way of roster-building sustainable for Ole Miss?
PicKell and I talk about the delicate dance Kiffin has mastered and what it means for 2024 and beyond. We also discuss the most important game on the schedule and potential College GameDay hosts. Tune in below for all of this and more.
