A tweet went viral earlier this week, asking Ole Miss fans to decide who should lead a fourth quarter drive, down six with two minutes left. The four quarterbacks to choose from are Bo Wallace, Chad Kelly, Matt Corral or Jaxson Dart.

In this edition fo Talk of Champions: Short Sessions, powered by College Corner, I am joined by Gray Hardison of Red Cup Rebellion to settle the great Ole Miss QB debate. We talk through the highs and lows for each, the arrival moments for each and compare stats for four of the best signal callers in program history.

After we try and settle this debate, we talk about the hype around the 2024 team. We also discuss the tremendous transfer portal haul.

Ole Miss was the fastest offense in the country.

Kiffin’s attack averaged 35 points and 462 yards per game. The Rebels averaged right at 74 plays per game and close to three plays per minute. The Rebels are the No. 1 combined offense in the FBS the last four years, averaging 500 yards per game. Including the COVID-19 shortened season, the offense has been lethal with Matt Corral and Dart leading the way. Both quarterbacks led Ole Miss to 10-win regular seasons and New Year’s Six Bowls.
