Ole Miss football announces 20 mid-year enrollees
The second National Signing Day of the 2023 recruiting cycle is on Wednesday but Ole Miss football head coach Lane Kiffin got things started a little early.
Kiffin announced the influx of 20 mid-year enrollees to the football team, making them eligible to participate in spring practices in a couple months.
The list of new Rebels joining the team for spring practice features 13 Division I transfers that On3 currently ranks as the No. 3 class in the team transfer rankings.
Ole Miss claimed four of the top 50 available transfers, according to On3.
The list of enrollees include Victor Curne (OL), Caden Davis (K), Joshua Harris (DT), Tre Harris (WR), Walker Howard (QB), Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste (LB), Chris Marshall (WR), Quincy McGee (OL), Monty Montgomery (LB), Caden Prieskorn (TE), Spencer Sanders (QB), John Saunders Jr (CB) and Zamari Walton (CB).
This group joins the the five December signees that arrived at Ole Miss in January: AJ Brown (S), Jayvontay Conner (TE), Cayden Lee (WR), Braxton Myers (CB), Brycen Sanders (OL).

The arrival of Sanders and Howard makes the Ole Miss quarterback room full, creating another position battle for the spring.
Jaxson Dart is the de-facto starter, coming off his first season as the Rebels signal caller. He beat out Luke Altmyer last season who has since transferred to Illinois.
Whoever the quarterback is come this fall, they will have a full room of targets to practice with this spring. The addition of Harris, Marshall and Lee creates depth in a room that is losing its top two producers from a season ago in Jonathan Mingo and Malik Heath.
The offensive line will get to work on its depth in the spring in full with Sanders, McGee and Curn’s early arrival to Ole Miss.
Kiffin will hold his National Signing Day presser at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
