Last week Ole Miss learned when it will kickoff the 2023 Egg Bowl against Mississippi State and this week it knows when the first three games of the season will start.

On Wednesday the Southeastern Conference announced kickoff times for the Rebels games against Mercer, at Tulane and Georgia Tech. One game will air on ESPN+ while the other two will air on television

Starting on September 2 Ole Miss will open its 2023 campaign, hosting Mercer and kicking off at 1 p.m. CT. The game will air on ESPN+ / SEC Network+.

Afternoon games in the September heat continue into week two as Ole Miss hits the road for the first time of the season, traveling to New Orleans and taking on Tulane. The Rebels and Green Wave will kickoff inside Yulman Stadium at 2:30 p.m. CT and air on ESPN2.

Rounding out the announcements is the week three matchup between Ole Miss and Georgia Tech. The Rebels host the Yellowjackets will be the first night game of the year for Ole Miss.

The September 16 matchup will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT and air on SEC Network.

Wednesday’s news make it four of 12 games on the Rebels schedule receiving kickoff times. The regular season finale against the Bulldogs in Starkville is set for another Thanksgiving night kickoff.

All of the SEC games on the Ole Miss slate will have kickoff times announced once the season gets underway. After having a rare matchup in November last season the Ole Miss – Alabama game returns to its usual September slot, getting the Rebels SEC schedule started on September 23 in the first of seven straight conference games in eight weeks.

Kickoff of the Rebels final non-conference game of the season against ULM on November 18 will be announced during the season as well.
