Ole Miss adds huge piece to portal class in Florida EDGE Princely Umanmielen
It didn’t take long for the Ole Miss NCAA Transfer Portal fireworks to continue. Florida EDGE Princely Umanmielen arrived for his official visit Monday and by Friday he was committed to the Rebels. Make it six commits for Lane Kiffin and Co. in six days.
Ole Miss got things rolling with Arkansas linebacker Pooh Paul Friday evening and Illinois cornerback Taz Nicholson Saturday afternoon. Then on Monday, Indiana safety Louis Moore jumped into the boat. Later in the week it was Oklahoma safety Key Lawrence.
Now, after an official visit Monday evening, Umanmielen gives Kiffin and Ole Miss its fourth defensive commit via the portal.
Rebels’ defensive line coach Randall Joyner has been a huge fan of Umanmielen since he was in high school at Manor (Tex.) in 2020. Now, he will be coaching him in the SEC West.
