Houston cornerback Isaiah Hamilton picks Ole Miss over Alabama and Michigan
Ole Miss keeps the transfer portal train rolling, adding Houston cornerback Isaiah Hamilton to the 2024 class. The four-star prospect from Channelview (Tex.) ultimately chose the Rebels over notable offers from Missouri, Alabama and Michigan.
He started his career at Texas Southern, where he spent three seasons before arriving at Houston in 2023. In 12 games for the Cougars, Hamilton had 50 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss to go with four interceptions.
Hamilton joins a talented group of defensive backs at Ole Miss which includes Alabama’s Trey Amos, South Alabama’s Yam Banks, Indiana’s Louis Moore, Tennessee’s Brandon Turnage and Oklahoma’s Key Lawrence.
