Southern Illinois wide receiver Izaiah Hartrup will transfer to Ole Miss
Ole Miss added to its already loaded wide receiver Friday. Southern Illinois wide receiver Izaiah Hartrup announced he would be transferring to Ole Miss for the 2024 season. He decommitted from Ohio earlier this week. After a visit to Oxford, Miss., Hartrup decided to move forward with the flip commitment.
“I’d like to thank the coaches for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to play ball for a great program and with great people,” Hartrup said. “With that being said, after consideration I have decided to de-commit from Ohio University. Once again, thank you.”
In 2023, he started all 13 games for the Salukis last year, making 51 receptions for a team-high 706 yards and six touchdowns. The 6-foot, 183 pound prospect played in 23 games his first two seasons in Carbondale but redshirted in 2022 due to injury. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
