Four-star wide receiver Samari Reed to officially visit Ole Miss this weekend
Monarch (Fla.) wide receiver Samari Reed announced Wednesday he will be at Ole Miss this weekend for an official visit. It’s a chamber of commerce weekend in Oxford, Miss., with a home baseball series and Double Decker Arts Festival.
Lane Kiffin and Co., will have their work cut out for them as Penn State currently leads for the four-star prospect, per his Recruiting Prediction Machine.
Reed, the No. 61 wide receiver recruit in the country, per the On3 Industry Rankings, recently tripped to Ole Miss in March. He is the nation’s No. 393 overall recruit and Florida’s 53rd-ranked player. He also has an official visit scheduled to Penn State in June.
Samari Reed is a 6-foot-2, 190 pound pass-catcher who had a monster junior season.
In 2023, Monarch went 11-3 on the shoulders of Reed’s strong showing. He had 56 receptions for 1,311 yards and 15 touchdowns. The Knights made a run to the Florida 4M semifinals. New Ole Miss wide receivers coach George McDonald is his primary recruiter.
