Ole Miss has been extremely active in the NCAA Transfer Portal the last few weeks. The Rebels have landed the commitments of 10 transfers to go alongside the 21-member high school class. Now, Lane Kiffin and Co. have added yet another transfer in FAU wide receiver Devin Price.

Price played in a total of 30 games at Texas A&M over a span of three seasons before opting for the beach and the Owls program. During his time with the Aggies, he recorded just five catches for 59 yards. In 2022 he had four of his five catches for 52 yards.

Price grew up in College Station, Tex. He played high school football for A&M Consolidated, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 547 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average which utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He is the son of the late Terry Price who last coached the defensive line at Texas A&M. Before, he enjoyed stops at Ole Miss, Western Kentucky, Auburn and Texas Tech. He recruited and coached the likes of Myles Garrett, Justin Madubuike and DeMarvin Leal, among many others.

Ole Miss has had great success in the transfer portal with walk-on wide receivers.

Jahcour Pearson landed at Ole Miss after starting at Western Kentucky. He ended his career with the Hilltoppers with 105 receptions, 1,072 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. Upon his arrival in Oxford as a walk-on, he quickly established a role and was a big part of the 2021 offense. Pearson played in 10 games, catching 26 passes for 392 receiving yards.

After Pearson, Dayton Wade made his way to Ole Miss and quickly became a go-to guy for Jaxson Dart. Through 25 games as a Rebel, he hauled in 79 receptions for 1,078 yards and seven scores.

In 2023, Price made just seven catches for 120 yards and a score. But, at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, the coaches could certainly find a role for him in some form or fashion.
