'Amazing' atmosphere helps Ole Miss flip Auburn commit Dante Core
Choctawhatchee (Fla.) cornerback Dante Core returned to Oxford, Miss., last weekend to take in Ole Miss’ upset over Top 3 Georgia. Afterwards, he admitted the atmosphere was amazing and the Rebels were his frontrunner.
The 6-foot-1, 165 pound prospect took an official visit to Ole Miss this summer. Afterwards, he recapped it with OMSpirit.
“It was a great visit. I got to hang with the coaches and understand who they are as people outside of football,” Core said. “I learned a lot about the program.
“I’m a priority there,” Core said. “They need me. I liked how I got to see how the culture is. You can tell the players like it, the staff, everyone likes being at Ole Miss.”
And now, Dante Core is a part of Ole Miss’ surging 2025 class.
He is the 19th commitment in Lane Kiffin‘s group. The class is now firmly inside the Top 20 and is poised to add more after the enormous weekend.
