Commitment decision preview: 4-star S Ladarian Clardy
Escambia (Fla.) safety Ladarian Clardy has taken his three most important trips, per sources. He took official visits to Florida State, Ole Miss and went to Washington this weekend. The talented defensive back was originally going to announce this weekend, but now he has postponed it for the time being.
Clardy spoke with On3’s Chad Simmons about his commitment earlier this month.
“I will be committing on Aug. 3,” Clardy told On3. “What’s most important to me is the school that can develop me on and off the field. I also want to be part of a team that’s a brotherhood. And the main thing is I’m looking for a school that can help me get to the next level.”
The No. 178 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking is also ranked as the No. 17 safety in the 2025 class Florida’s 29th-ranked recruit. He will be back at Ole Miss Wednesday for one final visit.
After Ladarian Clardy’s OV to Ole Miss, the Rebels grabbed all the momentum.
The Rebels hosted the 5-foot-11, 165 pound recruit last month for an official visit. His entire family attended the trip to Oxford, Miss., with him. His parents both said they “loved it” and claimed it was the “best OV, hands down”.

Sources tell OMSpirit Clardy’s affinity for the family atmosphere in the facility and off the field with his position coach, Wes Neighbors, as well as Pete Golding, Bryan Brown and Kevin Smith.
My RPM pick is in for Ole Miss to receive good news this weekend. On3’s Vice President of Recruiting and Transfer Portal, Steve Wiltfong, has also entered a pick for Ole Miss. Simmons has, too, as well as Michael Langston, Senior Recruiting analyst for Warchant.com, Florida State’s On3 site.
