Arkansas interior offensive lineman Patrick Kutas commits to Ole Miss
Ole Miss has added another blue chip transfer commit. Arkansas interior offensive lineman Patrick Kutas made it official Thursday, announcing for the Rebels on the heels of his official visit. He is the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the portal, per On3.
Kutas appeared in 26 games over his three years in Fayetteville. He appeared in all 13 as a freshman, although mostly on special teams, and then started all nine as a sophomore on their offensive line before a season-ending injury. He then played in four, all of which were starts, this fall after coming in with a back injury. Sam Pittman and the staff opted to shelve him and utilize the redshirt.
A Memphis native, he played at Christian Brothers (Tenn.) where he was the No. 267 overall recruit and a four-star prospect in the 2022 cycle. He was also rated as the No. 17 interior offensive lineman in the class and the No. 8 player out of the state of Tennessee.
Ole Miss struggled to run the football in 2024. Patrick Kutas is a big step forward in improving the group.
Kutas has position versatility. He started at right tackle for the Razorbacks during the 2023 season then moved to left guard as a junior. The 6-foot-5, 315 pound prospect could factor in at offensive tackle on either side or slide to the interior.

Ole Miss returns both tackles, Diego Pounds and Jayden Williams. The interior is taking a huge hit due to graduation. Kutas figures to be in the mix in the two-deep in spring practice. John Garrison is hoping a boost to his room will help elevate a once potent run game in Oxford, Miss.
Pittman raved about Kutas after signing him two years ago.
“I like him a lot,” Pittman said. “Obviously, Kutas has got value because he can play center. He can play left guard. It’s sort of like Andrew Thomas. Andrew Thomas at on point at Georgia was starting for us in preseason at left guard and I’m thinking, ‘hell, he might be the best right tackle we had.’ Now we had Isaiah Wynn, who was a first-rounder as well, but you kind of want to start your program from the tackles to the center and then plug in the other guys.”
Ole Miss signed four high-school linemen on National Signing Day. The headliners were Devin Harper and Connor Howes. Ole Miss flipped them from LSU and Arkansas, respectively.
