Approaching decision date, 4-star RB Shekai Mills-Knight was back at Ole Miss this weekend
Baylor School (Tenn.) running back Shekai Mills-Knight has made his way back to Oxford, Miss. The four-star prospect from Chattanooga returned to Ole Miss for Juice Fest 24.
Kevin Smith offered Mills-Knight almost immediately after seeing him on film in 2023. The Tennessee recruit validated the offer with a breakout junior season for the Division II-AAA runner-up. Even though he missed four games with a high ankle sprain, he finished with over 1,200 all-purpose yards.
The junior running back is originally from Montréal, Quebec.
On3’s Chad Simmons recently spoke with Shekai Mills-Knight about his upcoming decision.
“The No. 237 prospect in the On300 is big on culture and he likes the feeling he has in Oxford. The coaches have their families around, and they have created a fun environment,” Simmons said. “That really appeals to one of the top uncommitted prospects in the country.

“At different times in his recruitment, Auburn, Miami, Tennessee and others have been high on his list, but with a decision nearing, the Rebels are the one others are looking up to.”
Simmons joined me with his RPM pick for the Rebels to win out in Mills-Knight’s recruitment. Ole Miss is the overwhelming favorite at the moment with a decision date fast-approaching.
