In a new series, OMSpirit is taking you behind the scenes as we take a close-up view of Ole Miss commits and targets on Football Fridays across the country, and today we focus on George MacIntyre.
MacIntyre is a 2025 On3 Consensus four-star quarterback Ole Miss offered in June. He did battle with Ole Miss commit Marcel Reed on Friday but he and his Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) teammates came up short, losing 35-21.
The 6-foot-5, 180 pound prospect did manage to spin it around yard and give the Eagles a chance, though. The 6th-ranked quarterback prospect in On3’s Consensus 2025 rankings was pressured constantly all night but was still 15-for-25 for 226 yards and a touchdown.
He is the No. 50 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus rankings for the class of 2025. He’s the No. 6 quarterback in the class and the No. 1 player in Tennessee.

He is the grandson of former legendary Vanderbilt head coach, George MacIntyre, and the nephew of former Ole Miss defensive coordinator and current FIU head coach, Mike MacIntyre.
FIU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Michigan and Vanderbilt have all offered. MacIntyre is also an exceptional basketball prospect as well.
