Three-star offensive tackle Taren Hedrick commits to Ole Miss over Kentucky, Missouri
Community School Of Naples (Fla.) offensive tackle Taren Hedrick might’ve waited until Sunday, but nevertheless the news was big. The 6-foot-5, 305 pound prospect announced his commitment, picking the Rebels over notable offers from Kentucky, Missouri, Florida, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Miami, UCF and South Carolina.
Hedrick took an official visit to Ole Miss last weekend and canceled trips to Texas A&M and Purdue. He then traveled to Kentucky before announcing his commitment. He released a Top 10 a few weeks ago but quickly chose Ole Miss after checking out a few on his list.
Hedrick is a three-star recruit who is the No. 592 player in the country, per On3’s Industry Ranking. He is the 38th-ranked offensive tackle in the country and Florida’s No. 78 rising senior.

Taren Hedrick is yet another massive addition to the 2025 class, literally.
The big fella from Columbia, Mo., joins River Oaks School (La.) offensive tackle Kenneth Boston in Lane Kiffin‘s 15th-ranked 2025 class. Boston committed on the spot this weekend after receiving an offer at the Friday Night Lights camp.
“As a kid it was always something about Ole Miss that I loved,” Boston said. “They told me that they were pumped about me being at the camp.”
