On Monday, On3 unveiled its first rankings release for football prospects in the 2027 cycle. The Top 100 rankings are made up of prospects entering their sophomore seasons. It will eventually expand to the On300 next spring. And despite the list being a work in progress and these recruits not signing for another couple years, Ole Miss is in the mix with several.

The 100 prospects that compose the watch list have an early four-star rating. The majority have a grade of 90 (the lowest four-star grade) with 10 holding a grade of 91.

Brandon’s running back Tyson Robinson (17) runs the ball in play against the Northwest Rankin Cougars in Flowood, Miss., on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023.

On3’s director of scouting and rankings touched on the arduous process and how it will evolve over the next few years.

“Many of the prospects who will end up as the best in the cycle have yet to emerge on the national radar,” Power said. “This is particularly the case with positions that involve physical and skill development, like offensive line and quarterback, among others.

“In assembling this ranking, we looked to emphasize contributions on the varsity level, with the understanding that some physically-gifted prospects may play at top high school programs where it’s harder to get on the field as a freshman,” Power said. “This is an extremely early snapshot at the 2027 cycle as there are three full seasons of high school football remaining for this group.”

Without further ado, let’s a look at the prospects who are on Ole Miss board.
