Ole Miss football sets spring practice schedule, Saturday practices open to public
Spring is here and the Ole Miss football team beings spring practices on Tuesday, but on Monday the team announced its full schedule and when fans can watch the Rebels.
Practices will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays over the next four weeks and culminating with the 2022 Grove Bowl on April 23.
The Tuesday and Thursday practices are closed to the public but each Saturday practice is open to fans and will be held inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and start at approximately Noon. Including the Grove Bowl, fans will have five opportunities this spring to see the Rebels in person.
A lot of anticipation is building after the historic 2021 season that ended with another trip to the Sugar Bowl. The Rebels reloaded their roster with the help of one of the best transfer portal classes in the country, highlighted by former Southern California quarterback Jaxson Dart and his teammate and tight end Michael Trigg.
There are plenty of questions entering the spring for the Rebels, including how quickly will Dart be named the starting quarterback or will the battle between he and Luke Altmyer drag out into the summer and fall camp in August.
