Ole Miss Morning-After: LSU | Come on in, the crow’s delicious
In this edition of the Ole Miss Morning-After Show, Ben Garrett (Ole Miss Spirit/On3) and Bradley Sowell (former Rebel offensive lineman and eight-year NFL veteran) have full reaction (and Lane Kiffin postgame sound!) from the No. 20-ranked Rebels’ thrilling, 55-49 win over No. 13 LSU, their bitter SEC West rival.
“You see the built-up camaraderie towards the game,” Ole Miss star second-year running back Quinshon Judkins said. “Then when you win, everyone storms the field. It’s just so fun playing this sport and having everyone there to support.”
Judkins rushed for 173 yards on a career-high 33 carries. The Rebels moved to 4-1 (1-1 SEC) on the season with a home showdown against Arkansas in a week.

Safe to say the Lane Train is back on track, and the crow’s delicious.
LFG.
“Extremely proud of our players,” Kiffin, the now-fourth-year Ole Miss head coach, added, in postgame remarks of his own. “We’re just really proud of these guys for overcoming adversity in the game and the week. They took a lot of heat this week for the performance last week in Alabama. That’s good. Standards have changed around here. You’re supposed to beat Alabama, and they took a lot of heat, especially offensively.
“Really went back to work and ran the ball really well today. I don’t know how many times you have 700 yards of offense without turning the ball over or having a sack. It’s pretty amazing by the assistant coaches and the players, too, because they made the plays, and they made a lot of them today.”
