Fifth-year football coach Lane Kiffin and other Ole Miss sports officials, starting in April, will take off on another Rebel Road Trip.

Ole Miss athletics staffers have made their annual spring trek for the last 12 years. The 2024 Rebel Road Trip, sponsored by DeadSoxy, will feature eight total stops: four in April and four more in June.

Kiffin’s Rebels, who won a program-record 11 games last season, are off this week for spring break. However, they opened spring practices with two light, no-pad sessions last week. They’ll return to the fields Tuesday, March 19, in the first viewing availability for the media.

“I don’t care what people say,” Kiffin said last week. “You get a super-talented, great, elite, talented team, they can be lesser players out of culture. Culture is very important.

“Now it’s more important to redo your culture every year because your roster is turning over. Half your roster is turning over. We have so many pieces coming back and really good leadership, but we’re not banking on that. We’re just restarting and this team is 0-0.

“Everybody in this program, from myself to the quarterback, is 0-0. That’s how we’ve restarted this thing.”

Rebel Road Trip meetings provide a social hour for local Rebel fans, as well as photo opportunities with Ole Miss spirit groups and the Peach Bowl and Golden Egg (Egg Bowl) trophies, among others.
