LISTEN: Trey Hall injury puts Ole Miss RBs back in the spotlight

The Ole Miss running back room is back in the spotlight.
What was arguably the Rebels’ biggest problem area on offense last season has already been dealt a blow for 2025-26. JUCO transfer Trey Hall had surgery to repair an injured Achilles, the Ole Miss Spirit has confirmed, which likely knocks him out for all of 2025.
The Rebels certainly tried to address the position in recruiting. Hall was one of three transfers added, joining Akron’s Jordon Simmons and Missouri’s Kewan Lacy. The Rebels signed four-star 2024 recurit Shekai-Mills Knight, too, while they return Logan Diggs and Dominque Thomas.
