2026 Tupelo (Miss.) four-star defensive back Maison Dunn, an Ole Miss early enrollee, moved up into the Top 100 in the final On300 released on Thursday. He moved up from No. 149 overall to No. 86 prospect in the country.

On3 national director of scouting and rankings Charles Power is high on the skillset Dunn brings to the Rebels. Dunn’s now On3’s 11th-ranked cornerback in America.

“Dunn is a smooth moving, jumbo defensive back who has the size and cover skills to develop into a top corner in the SEC,” Power said. “At 6-foot-2, 180 pounds with arms that measure over 33 inches, Dunn is one of the more physically imposing corners in the cycle. He’s been very strong in coverage over the past two seasons and had a strong final campaign this fall.”

Ole Miss got a versatile defender who can cover multiple positions on the field, which makes him even more valuable.

“Maison is a low-maintenance kid, quiet and easy to coach,” Tupelo head coach Ty Hardin said. “His best football is in front of him and he’s all about business. If he can stay healthy and doing what he’s supposed to do his ceiling is high. I don’t think he’s done growing. Maison is a legit man corner type of guy. Though I do think he could grow into a safety the way defenses are these days. He can be someone to cover and lock down a slot receiver or a tight end.”

“Maison Dunn is a super intriguing, big outside corner,” Power said last month as well. “Has fantastic size. Is a fluid, coordinated mover and has very strong film dating back to his junior year. Has continued to play well as a senior. He’s one who has risen in our rankings, debuted as a blue-chip outlier for On3 during his senior season and has continued to look good as a senior. There’s no question he has outstanding size and cover instincts.”

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Maison Dunn ranks as the No. 132 overall prospect in the country, No. 19 cornerback nationally and No. 6 prospect in Mississippi.

The 6-foot-3 prospect from just down the road chose the Rebels over notable offers from Mississippi State, Memphis, LSU, Minnesota and Louisville, among others. Ole Miss held off a push from Alabama late in the process to sign him.
