Ole Miss Softball adds UCLA transfer OF Liesl Osteen

Ole Miss Softball has added UCLA transfer outfielder Liesl Osteen, she announced on Instagram on Tuesday. She’ll have two years of eligibility remaining.

This season, played in 50 games and made 16 starts (15 in right field, one in center field) while making her first career appearances in the field and at the plate as a sophomore. She went 2-for-8 from the plate while scoring eight runs and tallying two runs batted in. The 5-10 sophomore went 1-for-2 on stolen base attempts.

In 2024 as a true freshman, Osteen played in 33 games, exclusively as a pinch runner, in her freshman season. The Simi Valley, Calif. native scored 12 runs while going 2-for-3 on stolen base attempts.

During her 83-game career with UCLA, Osteen owns a 1.000 fielding percentage (21 TC).
