Ole Miss vs. Auburn: How to watch, channel, stream, spread

No. 23 Ole Miss basketball hosts the top-ranked team in the nation on Saturday, as they welcome No. 1 Auburn at 1 p.m. in the SJB Pavilion, broadcast on ESPN. With a win, the Rebels could significantly bolster their NCAA Tournament resume.
Last time out, No. 23 Ole Miss (16-5, 5-3 SEC) defeated Texas (14-7, 3-5 SEC) 72-69 Wednesday night at the SJB Pavilion. It was a critical win for Chris Beard’s team after dropping three straight matchups.
“Our team really needed a win tonight. You know, Captain Obvious,” he said. “This three-game stretch, if you think about it, overtime loss where we had a chance to win, a home game we really let slip away and then even the other day at Missouri it’s a two-possession game with about eight minutes left. Our players continue to put us in positions where we have chances to win these games. “Tonight I’m just, above all, really happy for them.”

“Oxford on a Saturday is going to be pretty lit up. This Ole Miss team is the only team to beat Alabama at Alabama. You know, as Auburn’s coach, of course, I have to get that in. In their three losses, they’ve lost three games by a combined 12 points,” Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl said. “Their only loss at home was to Texas A&M, where they led the entire game until the very, very end. This is a matchup of two teams that take care of the ball, both turn the ball over under 10 times (per game). The three ball was important to both teams. Ole Miss is shooting it really, really well this year.
Last time out against Auburn, Ole Miss led the Tigers at the half on Feb. 3, 2024, 44-35, outshooting them 51.5% to 38.2% over the first 20 minutes. The Tigers stormed back in the second half by shooting 73.3 percent from the floor (22-30), scoring 56 points in the final period to win by 14.
The top-ranked team in the nation, Auburn brings an overall record of 19-1 and SEC record of 7-0 to Oxford this Saturday. Their lone win came at the hands of No. 9 Duke during the SEC/ACC Challenge, but they picked up massive wins during the non-conference stretch over No. 4 Houston, No. 5 Iowa State, No. 12 North Carolina, Memphis, and No. 16 Purdue.
