Ole Miss vs. Furman: How to watch, live stream, start time, TV channel
The 2024 season is here, officially getting start last week and on Thursday, and No. 6 Ole Miss is ready to finally hit someone other than their teammates.
Furman is that first team to lineup and let the Rebels take their preseason camp frustrations out on. The Paladins are coming to Oxford for the first time in history as they hold a 1-0 edge in the series. A 7-2 win in 1924 is what Ole Miss is looking to avenge on Saturday.
All they talking, speculating, projecting and predicting comes to an end with The Rebels finally starting their 12-game campaign towards the program’s first College Football Playoff berth with a new 12-team format.
There is also the anticipation of making a run towards a Southeastern Conference championship game appearance in Atlanta, too.
Lane Kiffin enters his fifth season in Oxford and his longest-tenured job provides the opportunity on the promise he made nearly five years ago: To not make the Rebels good, but great. This season is the first time Kiffin has been able to confidently feel like he is putting a complete roster on the field that can live up to those words.

The Paladins serve as the first test of the four-game non-conference slate — or a preseason if going off of Kiffin’s desire to live vicariously through a NFL model. The Rebels should pass this test with flying colors and get ready to host Middle Tennessee in a week without breaking much of a sweat, in theory.
