Ole Miss WR Noreel White enters NCAA Transfer Portal
Ole Miss Rebels wide receiver Noreel White plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he announced Saturday evening on Twitter.
White made appearances against Middle Tennessee and Furman, catching two passes for 34 yards.
He appeared in two games for the Rebels this past season as a true freshman, using a redshirt year, and will have four years of eligibility remaining at his next stop.
Noreel White is a former four-star recruit out of Ocean Springs (MS), who went to high school at
St. Martin (MS). He was the No. 377 overall recruit in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Ole Miss has addressed the wide receiver position through the portal with a trio of players, which could’ve spelt it out for White. Another young receiver, Ayden Williams, transferred on Saturday. Wake Forest transfer wide receiver Hilton ‘Deuce’ Alexander II, Alabama transfer wide receiver Caleb Odom and Oklahoma State transfer wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling are all committed to the Rebels.
White is someone that On3 national scout Cody Bellaire was high on entering his time at Ole Miss. He accumulated offers from Arkansas, Florida State, LSU and others throughout his recruiting process.

“When the ball is in his hands, he makes defenders miss in a phone booth consistently,” Bellaire said. “Body type says wide receiver, maybe running back, but the skill-set screams, ‘Get the ball in this kid’s hands.’ With modern offenses and the development of backs catching the ball out of the backfield, I see him filling some sort of (role) like (running back) Devon Achane at Texas A&M, where you see him line up in the backfield and slot and run in on sweeps.”
Noreel White hauled in 32 catches for 610 yards and six touchdowns while registering 36 tackles on the defensive side of the ball as a senior for St. Martin in 2023.
