No. 13 Ole Miss made even more history Saturday at Auburn.

The Rebels, with a 28-21 win, improved to 6-1 (3-1 SEC) on the season. They’ve now won at least six of their first seven games in each of the last three seasons. They last pulled off such a streak way back when Johnny Vaught — inarguably the greatest catch in school history — was leading Ole Miss to national championships in the 60s.

The Rebels pulled away in the second half for their second win at Auburn in 20 years. They’ve beaten the Tigers in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 50s.

Ole Miss next hosts Vanderbilt a week from today at 6:30 p.m. CT.
