The first loss of the season occurred for Ole Miss on Saturday in a 24-10 defeat at the hands of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Nothing pretty about what transpired inside Bryant-Denny Stadium as Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin and players all echoed the same sentiment that this was the year they thought a victory over the Crimson Tide could happen.

Nevertheless a win did not transpire and the Rebels (3-1, 0-1 Southeastern Conference) have to regroup quickly with No. 13 LSU and Arkansas coming to Oxford the next two Saturdays.
