A win over a ranked team on the road should be rewarded and that is what occurred for Ole Miss in the latest Top-25 rankings released after week two.

The Rebels rallied to defeat then-No. 24 Tulane 37-20 to stay perfect on the season and hand the Green Wave their first loss on the young season.

With the victory the voters in the Associated Press and Coaches Polls bumped Ole Miss up their respective rankings slightly. The Rebels (2-0) moved up more in the AP Poll, jumping three spots to No. 17 while the Coaches Poll shifted them up only one spot to No. 19.
