The elevator ride that is Ole Miss up and down the rankings the last couple weeks continued on Sunday but this time the ride was going back in the favorable direction.

Coming off the shootout victory over LSU on Saturday Ole Miss crept back up towards the Top 15 a week removed from having the down button pushed following the loss at Alabama.

After the 55-49 victory the voters of the Associated Press and USA Today liked what they saw out of the Rebels. In the AP Poll Ole Miss moved up four spots to No. 16 and jumped up five spots back to No. 15 in the Coaches Poll.

Ole Miss ties its highest ranking of the season, getting back to the Top 15 which is where they sat prior to the game at Alabama.
