POLL POSITION: Ole Miss moves into the Top 10 after winning second SEC series

The college baseball season is long and it is a marathon not a sprint but so far Ole Miss is running it very well relative to the past couple years.
Taking two out of three games in 24 hours, nearly getting all three, over Florida last Thursday and Friday to secure their second Southeastern Conference series continues to boost the Rebels.
Last week was another 3-1 week for Ole Miss (21-6, 6-3 SEC) that helped it jump up in Monday’s polls and back into the Top 10 for the first time since early in the 2023 season.
In D1Baseball’s Top 25 rankings the Rebels jumped up six spots to No. 9 for the third biggest move up in the publication’s poll. They moved up five spots in Baseball America’s rankings to No. 10.
