Sunday saw the conclusion of the 2025 college baseball season and Monday saw the final Top 25 polls released with Ole Miss included.

The Rebels were nearly a consensus Top 20 team after returning to the NCAA Tournament after a two-year absence and also hosting their first regional in four years.

Baseball America and D1Baseball released their final polls of the season this week. Ole Miss was No. 19 in the former and No. 21 in D1Baseball’s rankings.

Ole Miss experienced a turnaround season in 2025, reaching 40-plus wins and a winning record in Southeastern Conference play. The Rebels made a run in Hoover at the SEC Tournament reaching the championship game, which helped earn a regional host selection.

“Just a really neat group, really. Those older guys coming back was special,” Ole Miss head coach Mike Bianco said earlier this month. “That doesn’t happen a lot. But, three of those guys were (in Omaha) in that dog pile a few years ago. But they never really said it to me but you could sense that they didn’t want the last couple years to be what they’re remembered for. They came here to win a championship and once you win one you want to win another one.”

Ole Miss is currently re-building its roster via the transfer portal and landing six commitments in the last couple weeks.

Monday’s commitment from Saint Louis pitcher Owen Kelly the latest, and fourth addition to the Rebels pitching staff.
