Ole Miss baseball has a busy week ahead.
The Rebels are hosting three visitors and a candidate for pitching coach over the next few days. Among them is TCU outfielder Logan Maxwell, who led TCU in OPS (.929) last season.

OLE MISS’ MCKENZIE LONG NAMED HONDA AWARD FINALIST
The Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) announced Monday Ole Miss track and field star McKenzie Long is a finalist for the 2024 Honda Sports Award.
Long joins fellow national champions and Bowerman watchlist members Maia Ramsden (Harvard), Jaida Ross (Oregon) and Parker Valby (Florida).

Long is but a few days removed from one of the best single-day performances in NCAA history. She won three national titles in an historic 90-minute span on Saturday. Long ends her career as one of the best Rebels of all time.
The Honda Award has been presented annually for nearly 50 years to the top women athletes in 12 NCAA-sanctioned sports. The winner becomes a finalist for the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and prestigious 2024 Honda Cup.
Long was a two-time NCAA runner-up at Ole Miss, as well as an eight-time All-American (seven first team), nine-time NCAA qualifier (all at Ole Miss), two-time SEC Champion and six-time SEC medalist. She set six school records and collected 45.5 career NCAA points. She had 47.5 career SEC points.
Long was the 2024 SEC Indoor Scholar-Athlete of the Year and is currently working toward her second master’s degree. She already has a master’s in criminal justice.
