Zach Berry of the Ole Miss Spirit (OMSpirit.com) is joined for this Friday (February 7, 2025) edition of ‘The Flagship’ by Greg Jones of LB’s Meat Market.
No. 25 Ole Miss basketball seems to be peaking at the right time. The Rebels (17-6, 6-4 SEC) earlier this week secured just the 15th all-time win over Kentucky.
Next is a road trip to LSU (12-10, 1-8) Saturday at 7:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network. Chris Beard’s crew is in search of the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance in nearly six years, as well as just the 10th in school history.

Plus, Super Bowl LIX is on Sunday, pitting the Kansas City Chiefs against Ole Miss great AJ Brown’s Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs are looking to become the NFL’s first three-peat champion. Brown is only the seventh Rebel in history to appear in two Super Bowls, however, he’s seeking his first win.
Berry and Jones, of course, will be tuned in. But what’s on the smoker? ‘The Flagship,’ powered by College Corner, has some ideas.
