Three Ole Miss players land on All-SEC Coaches Teams
Ole Miss is starting to get postseason accolades and Tuesday was no different with the release of the 2022 All-SEC Coaches Football Team.
The league office released the First and Second Teams and Ole Miss landed three players. Quinshon Judkins, Jonathan Mingo and Nick Broeker all earned spots.
Judkins was named the First Team running back along with Texas A&M’s Devon Achane. This accolade comes a day after Judkins was named the Associated Press’ SEC Newcomer of the Year.
The true freshman set the Ole Miss single-season record in both rushing yards (1,476) and rushing touchdowns (16). Besides rushing yards and touchdowns, Judkins also leads the SEC and ranks top 10 nationally in total touchdowns (17) and rushing yards per game (123.0).
Ole Miss’ Mingo and Broeker earned spots on the Second Team in their respective positions.
The senior Ole Miss receiver tied with Missouri’s Dominic Lovett, joining Georgia’s Ladd McConkey.
Mingo has hauled in 48 receptions for 808 yards and a team-high five touchdowns. The senior from Brandon, Miss. leads the Rebels with 38 career starts and has tallied over 1,700 receiving yards over his four years in an Ole Miss uniform.

Against Vanderbilt Mingo became Ole Miss’ top single-game receiver in program history following a 247-yard performance on nine catches and two scores against the Commodores. He surpassed Elijah Moore who held the record with 238 receiving yards.
In the offensive lineman group Broeker was joined by Alabama’s Javion Cohen and Tyler Steen, South Carolina’s Jovaughn Gwyn and LSU’s Will Campbell. Gwyn and Campbell tied.
Broeker has started all 12 games for the Rebels at left guard, playing in nearly all offensive snaps (907). Broeker hasn’t allowed a sack in 505 pass blocking snaps and is anchor for an Ole Miss offense that ranks No. 3 in the FBS in rushing yards per game (261.6) and No. 7 in total offense (491.2).
