Tre Harris flashes why he's healthy, catches deep bomb from Jaxson Dart to hit 1,000 yards
Ole Miss Rebels wide receiver Tre Harris returned to form on Saturday, catching a 43-yard touchdown pass to the game against the Florida Gators at 7. The pass from Dart to Harris also pushed Harris over the 1,000-yard mark.
Entering the game in Gainesville, Harris has 987 yards — a figure that still leads the SEC — and six touchdowns. His now 12 receptions of 30 or more yards leads the country, which is even more impressive considering Tre Harris hadn’t played since Week 7.
Ole Miss sits at 8-2 on the year and 4-2 in SEC play, but rank ninth in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin was particularly excited to have Tre Harris back in the mix this week as the Top 10 Rebels push for the College Football Playoff.

“Tre’s been great,” Kiffin said on the SEC coaches teleconference on Wednesday. “Been awesome having him back out there. To be fully loaded, whole team and offense has been great. Great feeling to have that back. The nation’s toughest receiver in the country. So, it’s been great to have him back out there.”
After the 2023 season Tre Harris had a big decision to make – bolt for the NLF Draft or return to Ole Miss. In the end, he decided to return to Oxford to cement his legacy as one of the best receivers in school history.
It’s paying off in a big way as Tre Harris the top wideout in the SEC.
