Tupelo DB Braylen Williams commits to Ole Miss

2026 Tupelo (Miss.) defensive back Braylen Williams has committed to Ole Miss, he announced. The Rebels add their first in-state prospect for the recruiting class for Lane Kiffin & Co.
The 2026 athlete prospect transferred from Nettleton High School to Tupelo High School and had to sit out most of his junior season. He returned late in the postseason to help the Golden Wave win the program’s first-ever Class 7A football state championship.
“I played cornerback and safety,” said the 5-foot-11.5 and 180-pound Williams. “I will do that again my senior season. But I will go back to quarterback, too. So I am trying to balance all of that out.”
Akron, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Louisville, Auburn, Louisiana and Arkansas State are among those to offer him.
