WATCH: A walk-through of Ole Miss football’s Manning Center
The Ole Miss Spirit on Friday was among those given a tour of the renovated Manning Center, the indoor home of Rebel football.
The Manning Center re-opened last month following a $45-million-dollar face-lift that included an expanded weight room, overhauled locker room and much, much more.
“It’s the real deal,” Rebel tight end Caden Prieskorn previously said of the facility, in an exclusive interview with the Ole Miss Spirit. Prieskorn transferred in from Memphis in the off-season.
“I was getting treatment for the first time in the new training room and it’s awesome — just the space, the tables, the cold tubs. Just how nice it is, it looks awesome. Memphis, for a non-Power 5 school, their facilities are really good. But you’re on the biggest stage here (at Ole Miss).
“It’s something I wanted to be a part of.”

The square footage of the building itself has grown from 181,500 to 221,000.
The expanded locker room features a barber shop, hydro tanks, plunge pools, a players’ lounge and fueling station. Other new features include a video game lounge, social media workroom, photo/video studio and NIL meeting space.

BOR meeting sparks speculation
Ole Miss had built separate meeting rooms for offensive and defensive units. The Rebels constructed all-new office spaces, with office layouts streamlined for offensive, defensive and analytics. The office of the head coach, currently occupied by Lane Kiffin, was completely redone. The recruiting space has a dedicated theater room, named for the Moore family, in addition to numerous visuals to celebrate Ole Miss Football.
The expanded equipment area now includes a gear display room. A new ESPN/SEC Network bureau cam room was installed.
“It’s so awesome,” Denson Hollis, the Chief Development Officer/Associate A.D. for Development at the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation (OMAF), previously told the Ole Miss Spirit. “ICM (Construction) has done a great job with that building. It’s going to be a real difference-maker for the Ole Miss football program.”
