Ole Miss and Southern Mississippi get together this weekend for a third time this season with a berth to the College World Series on the line.
Both advanced through the regional round in two completely different paths. Ole Miss went a perfect 3-0 in the Coral Gables Regional, getting through Arizona twice and Miami once. Southern Mississippi had to fight its way through the loser’s bracket and beat LSU twice in 24 hours to survive and advance.
