Ole Miss football’s thrilling 55-49 win over rival LSU on Saturday was one for the record books.

The kind of game where, years from now, any Rebel fan worth their salt will be able to recall exactly where they were when it happened.

Not since the Rebels’ takedown of mighty Alabama in 2014 has an Ole Miss team had such a potentially-defining win; the kind of forever memory sure to be immortalized for years to come for its (again, potentially) modern-era program significance.

So, of course, the Ole Miss Athletics department is making sure the win is receiving the proper, program-defining treatment.

Ole Miss on Monday released a cinematic recap of the win.

The Rebel offense, led by veteran quarterback Jaxson Dart, scored 55 points — the most in school history by the Rebels against an AP ranked team.

The teams met for the 112th time and combined for 1,343 offensive yards — the fifth-most ever in the SEC and third-most between conference schools. They’re the second-most-combined yards in school history.

Ole Miss had a season-high 706 yards, its sixth-most ever.

“That was the best game I’ve ever played in my life,” Rebel wide receiver Tre Harris said. Harris led the Rebels in targets (14), catches (8) and yards (153).

Harris, an off-season transfer addition from Louisiana Tech, added, “The most fun game I’ve ever had in my life. That’s exactly what I came here for.”

Don’t just take Harris’ word for it. Check out the win, in all its primped-up glory, in the video below.
