The 2022-23 campaign was a sporadic, puzzling mess for the Oregon men's basketball program. The Ducks began the year as a top-25 squad with ambitions of making a deep run through the NCAA tournament. But injuries, inconsistency, and flat-out poor play hindered Dana Altman's program to a 21-15 season that ended unceremoniously in the quarterfinals of the NIT. Now, after back-to-back seasons missing out on the big dance, Altman has vowed that change is coming. The Ducks' offseason roster exodus has already begun; late last week, reserve guard Tyrone Williams hit the transfer portal. The coming weeks could feature a flurry of other departures as Altman and his staff look to retool their roster.
