The Ducks continue to heat up on the recruiting trail. 2026 4-star San Francisco (Calif.) Archbishop Riordan offensive tackle Tommy Tofi has committed to Oregon.

The 6-foot-5 1/2, 340-pound lineman announced his decision to play his college football in Eugene over social media after de-committing from Cal on Monday.

Tofi is the No. 152 player nationally, the No. 15 offensive tackle and the No. 19 prospect in California according to Rivals. The Bay Area product is the second offensive lineman for A’lique Terry in the 2026 class after 3-star Honolulu (HI) Farrington interior offensive lineman Koloi Keli committed to Oregon on Monday. Keli and Tofi were both formerly committed to Cal.

“Just their culture. I love what Coach Lanning built over there,” he previously told ScoopDuck of what’s driving his interest in Oregon. “Just from the ground up. In the span of four years, he’s sent many guys to the NFL, including Troy Franklin, my coach’s player. But I hope I could be that next player if I do decide to go to Oregon. I hope I could be that next player in line for Coach Lanning and Coach Terry.”

The San Francisco product has been a priority in the 2026 recruiting class for Terry and the Law Firm this cycle, taking multiple trips to see Dan Lanning‘s program throughout his recruitment.

The Ducks never stopped recruiting him, even after he committed to Cal. In fact, Tofi made the trip north to Eugene last month for an official visit with the Ducks the weekend of June 13. The 4-star offensive lineman also took official visits to Cal and Utah during his recruitment.

Tofi’s commitment marks another big recruiting win for Oregon in the 2026 class, and perhaps more importantly a big recruiting win in the talent rich state of California and the Bay Area, a region the Ducks have recruited heavily over the years.

With Tofi in the fold, Oregon will continue to recruit other top offensive line targets like Immanuel Iheanacho, Kelvin Obot and Jax Tanner among others.
