5-Star WR Dallas Wilson Reaffirms Oregon Commitment
Tampa Bay (Fla.) Tech wide receiver Dallas Wilson is one of the elite pass catchers in the 2025 recruiting class. Listed at 6’3″, 193 pounds has been committed to Oregon since January of last year and hasn’t wavered on his pledge to Junior Adams and Dan Lanning.
However programs like Florida State, Miami, Florida and Texas have all continued to recruit Wilson in an attempt to flip him away from his Oregon pledge. And the noise/speculation around his recruitment hadn’t gone away, despite him saying all the right things.
But it really looks like Wilson doesn’t plan on going anywhere.
On Wednesday, the coveted route runner posted a video reaffirming his commitment to Oregon. “Kill all the noise,” Wilson wrote in a social media post.
“It’s been my dream since forever, since I opened my eyes as a baby,” he said. “Coach Lanning, he just made it ten times better.”
Wilson is one of two 5-star wide receivers committed to Oregon in the 2025 class, along with Duncanville (Tex.) 5-star plus standout Dakorien Moore, who announced his commitment on the Fourth of July.

The Florida native was one of the earlier commits for Dan Lanning and company this cycle, and the level of attention he’s continued to draw from other schools only further illustrates just how talented of a player he is.
Wednesday’s video serves as another example of how effectively Dan Lanning, Marshall Malchow and the rest of the Oregon staff capitalize on the national spotlight. Wilson, should he sign with Oregon in December as expected, will be the first Florida wide receiver to sign with the Ducks since Daewood Davis from Deerfield Beach in the class of 2017.
With Wilson reaffirming his commitment, Oregon continues to cement themselves as one of the hottest teams in college football and more specifically on the recruiting trail. Following Wednesday’s commitment from 4-star Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman interior offensive lineman Alai Kalaniuvalu, Oregon’s 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 4 nationally according to On3.
