We are one-third of the way through Oregon’s 2022 regular season schedule.

At this point, we are still learning about the Ducks and how the program is taking shape under Dan Lanning and his staff. Statistically speaking, there are plenty of positive takeaways that can be drawn from a relatively small sample size of games. Of course, there have also been a few negatives.

Here are 10 stats that stand out after four games.

88.4

Alex Forsyth’s pass-blocking grade, according to Pro Football Focus. It is the second-highest grade in the nation among centers, trailing only BYU’s Connor Pay (90.2).

7.0

Bucky Irving’s average yards-per-carry. That ranks 11th in the nation among FBS players and is the second-best mark in the Pac-12 behind only Cal’s Jadyn Ott.

84.8

Troy Franklin’s average receiving yards per game, which ranks 29th in the nation. Over the past three games, he has tallied 305 yards on 18 catches — the most in the Pac-12 during that span.

The number of 100-yard games Franklin has tallied this season. He erupted for 137 yards against Washington State in Week 4. Last year, only one Oregon player eclipsed the 100-yard mark: Devon Williams in the Ducks’ regular-season finale against Oregon State.
