Bo Nix Named Denver's Starting Quarterback

It’s no surprise but coming off his efficient Sunday pre-season game, Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton has announced Bo Nix will be his starting quarterback. Nix beat out Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson to lead Payton’s offense in the mile-high city.
“It was really cool. It’s not every day to get that news,” Nix told local media. “As a room we’ve been working hard and putting in a lot of work and putting a lot of good things on film and in the practice field. I’m super excited and ready to get back to work again.”
“He walked up said he was going to tell you guys this afternoon. Let’s have a good practice.”
The Denver Broncos kick off the 2024-2025 NFL season against the Seattle Seahawks on September 8.
Nix was drafted by the Broncos in the first round of the NFL draft. He was the 12th pick overall in the draft.
