Dan Lanning: "Good competitive practice."

On Wednesday Dan Lanning met with media following practice. It was the final open practice this week as Oregon heads to Ann Arbor.

Lanning was pretty short on answers and only spent just over two minutes with the media. It would appear coach is anxious to get back into coaching.

“Good day from our guys today. Good competitive practice. Finish it off with red zone like we usually do on Wednesday’s.”

On Bassa’s Improved Pass Coverage:

“He’s put a lot of time and effort into it. He’s better at seeing what routes he’s going to get based on splits.”

On Jamaree Caldwell:

“Just his work ethic. He works hard every day. He’s a hard guy to block. He’s created a lot of havoc up front for us.”

On Early Down Success:

“Just successful plays. We’ve created what creates a successful play and executing that. Also coach Stein has done a really good job doing that for us.”

On My’Keil Gardner:

“Possibly. We’ll continue to assess and see where he’s at.”
