Dan Lanning provides update on Oregon linebacker Justin Flowe

Oregon was missing one of its top defensive players during Saturday’s win over Stanford.
Justin Flowe, the Ducks’ starting Mac linebacker and a former 5-star signee, was not in uniform on Saturday. Despite practicing during the week, Flowe did not go through warmups for Oregon and was later seen in sweats on the sideline.
Jeffrey Bassa started in his place alongside Noah Sewell.
After Saturday’s game, Oregon coach Dan Lanning was asked about the reason for Flowe’s absence.
“I’ll have to get with our trainer and kind of catch up and see where things are at,” Lanning said. “But (Flowe) was unavailable right before the game.”
Lanning did not elaborate further on the nature of Flowe’s injury.
Flowe, the second-highest-rated recruit in program history according to 247 Sports, missed all but one game last season. He racked up 14 tackles in Oregon’s season-opening win over Fresno State last September but suffered a foot injury during the game that wiped out his season.
