Dante Moore an Early Heisman Candidate
The college football machine continues on with the national championship barely even 12 hours old. But we’ve got final rankings and early projections and much more already.
FDSportsbook.com has already put out odds on Heisman favorites for next season. And Oregon has another early candidate at quarterback despite starting its third quarterback in as many years next year.
Vegas is already assuming, and probably safely assuming, Oregon will start Dante Moore next season at quarterback. That’s pretty much the feeling around Oregon circles based on some early conversations. Oregon will likely be starting Dante Moore next season. As most know Moore transferred to Oregon this past season with Dillon Gabriel. And Moore did so knowing he would back up Gabriel this year and grow as a player and learn the Oregon system.
Dillon Gabriel threw for over 3,800 yards and 30 touchdowns this season. That was good enough for him to finish third in Heisman voting this year. Dante Moore only threw for 49 yards this season at Oregon. It will be interesting to see if he can make that jump this season.
