On Monday morning the coaching staff and players available met with media around mid-day. The practice beforehand was closed to the media.

One of the available players was quarterback Dante Moore. He spent a lot of time talking about his personal growth from the Spring to now. The biggest changes and the areas he’s working on.

You can read most of his top comments below or watch the video included on the bottom.

On Progress:

“I feel like the best thing is coming in learning the playbook. Learning lingo, signals, things of that nature. During Spring it was kind of challenging just to learn and go through the practices so fast. I feel way more comfortable. Overall, practice in the afternoon, never did that in college. Fall camp was crazy. Sometimes it will be super hot. I feel like we had a great Fall camp as a team.”

More on Progress:

“My confidence. Understanding what coach Stein has taught me. He’s given me the tools to check protections, just make the smart plays. If I mess up he just wants us to say what we did wrong. Learning the playbook, especially with DG in the room. Just being able to talk to him.”

On Bo’s Performance:

“Overall Bo has been a talented quarterback. He’s played many games as a quarterback. He’s always been a smart quarterback.”

On having Helmet Mics:

“It feels like you’re in a movie. Of course you can look at the signals still. But just hearing what coach Stein is seeing, protections. It’s great to go through the calls and be able to communicate with the O-Line and all that.”
