Decision Day for Four-Star Tight End
Oregon and Dan Lanning have its full attention on today’s Pac-12 championship game. However there could be a bit of news just before kickoff for Duck fans.
At 5 PM PST, Orem (Utah) tight end Roger Saleapaga will make his college choice. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder will decide from a final five of Oregon, Tennessee, Alabama, Utah and Auburn.
Saleapaga is the No. 430 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 26 ranked tight end in the country.
Currently Oregon leads the On3 RPM at 95% chance to land the four-star. My prediction has been locked in with Oregon since October 17. On 247Sports a pair of predictions also are in Oregon’s favor dating back to October 13.

I remain confident in my pick for the Ducks despite a very strong push from Tennessee. The Vols are likely Oregon’s biggest threat heading into his decision later this afternoon.
Previously Saleapaga told On3’s Chad Simmons what he was looking for in a school.
“I am a big family guy, so I am taking my whole family on these visits with me,” Saleapaga told On3. “My decision will mostly be about me, but my family will be involved. It will be about where I feel most like family, where me and my family are comfortable and then development will be something I look at. My ultimate goal is to play in the NFL, but I have to be very comfortable there first.”
On Oregon:
“I love Oregon for one reason; they show that they really want me. Dan Lanning came to my game and it is not often that a head coach goes out to see guys play. They have shown me that I am important to them. Coach Lanning is a great person, he always expresses how much he wants me and that has always made me feel good about them.”
