Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel met with media on Tuesday after practice. He talked about his red zone interceptions from last week but spent more time talking about this Ohio State game and what’s at stake.

The Ducks are set for this top three matchup Saturday afternoon at 4:30 PM in Eugene. We keep inching closer to kickoff.

On tOSU defense:

“Extremely talented. They play extremely hard and have produced. I guess when you combine all three of those you see it in the games. I think they’ve been good on first and second down which allows them to do what they do. They’re really good at it. I think all three levels work really well together.”

On Winning Big Games Like This:

“Experience is a huge thing. The turnover battle. Third downs, fourth downs. And scoring in the red area. That’s the main thing that goes into winning. It’s fun it’s why we all want to be a part of teams like this. Take it one week at a time. This is what you dream of but you got a job to do and find a way to win.”

Reviewing the 2 RZ INT’s:

“Just being a lot smarter. I got away with one against UCLA and then I didn’t get away with it against Michigan State. Just forcing it when we could live to play another down or two. Just being smart-aggressive.”

On OL Improvement:

“I think they’ve been playing well and doing their job. We have belief and trust in them in what they do. Keep getting better, that’s the goal.”
